General rules for sample submission
Before you generate your samples, we strongly suggest that you discuss the general strategy and technical details of your MS experiment with Elisabeth Roitinger (elisabeth.roitinger(at)imba.oeaw.ac.at, VBC6 ground floor, room number E 78, tel: 4278).
For the actual submission of your samples please use the MS Submission Portal and place your samples in the fridge/freezer which is set up at IMBA Plaza floor next to the copy machine.
Do not forget to label each tube with the project ID and your initials!
Carefully read our guidelines for MS-compatible sample preparation for different sample types:
- Guidelines for proteins separated by gel electrophoresis
- Guidelines for proteins submitted in solution
- Guidelines for proteins submitted bound to beads
- Guidelines for whole cell lysates or cell pellets
If you publish work supported by the Proteomics Facility, please do not forget to acknowledge the facility in your paper: “Proteomics analyses were performed by the Proteomics Facility at IMP/IMBA/GMI using the VBCF instrument pool.”
