M55 - AxL Cleared Tissue LightSheet

System description

AxL - ClearedTissue LightSheet is based on axially swept lightsheet microscopy (ASLM). The system uses a digitally scanned thin light sheet across a large field of view resulting in images with improved optical sectioning. In ASLM, the beam is scanned axially by electrically tunable lenses and is synchronized with the rolling shutter readout of an sCMOS camera at the size of the beam waist. The final image is the result of many small and overlapping images, with the beam displaced of a defined distance along its propagation axis.
