Microscopy
Training
Before using any of the microscopes, a training by the BioOptics Facility staff is needed.
Users do not train other users!
Please schedule an appointment with Gabi Stengl (0664 88464463) for wide-field imaging or Pawel Pasierbek (0664 88464460) for confocal and live-cell imaging.
Sign-up
The microscopes can be reserved online through the Online Booking System GRM3 - grm3.imp.univie.ac.at.
Sign-Up is on a first come, first serve basis.
Appointments that cannot be held must be cancelled as early as possible in order to free up the slots for other users.
If the user does not show up within 30 minutes after the start of the booking-time the whole reservation is considered cancelled and the equipment is available to everybody.
